โข Use a lash fan to dry lashes
โข Avoid using cotton
โข Use oil-free products on and around eyes

FOLLOWING THESE RULES WILL BENEFIT THE HEALTH OF YOUR NATURAL LASHES AS WELL AS ENSURING A LONG LASTING RETENTION!
YOUR AFTER CARE ROUTINE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
We require a 48 hour wait period before exposing your lashes to any type of moisture. This includes avoiding any environment that may contain a high humidity level. (Ex: pools, lakes, oceans, saunas or even steam from a hot shower). After this 48 hour wait period, it is safe to cleanse your lashes once on a daily basis or twice a day if oily skin is present. We recommend a daily wash to avoid buildup of oils, dirt/debris or any gunk that we wouldnโt want within our lash extensions. By cleansing your lashes on a daily basis, you are doing the following:
- Improving retention
- Avoiding infections
- Maintaining your lash set
- Helping ensure healthy lashes and maximum retention
Each individual has their own unique natural eyelash growth cycle. This may affect your eyelash extension retention as well as how often you should be getting an in-fill. It is ideal to monitor your set and track how many lashes you lose on a daily basis. You may need to come in for a weekly touch-up, whereas the next client may be okay to come in for a 3 week in-fill. You should be booking your in-fill once 50 percent of your lash extensions are remaining.
There are various factors that may provide insight on why you may be experiencing a higher shedding rate than usual. This includes the following:
-Medications
-Face creams/serums
- Contact with high moisture/humidity levels
- Naturally fast lash growth cycle
- Oils
- Poor lash after-care
- Failure to cleanse lashes prior to your appointment
We offer free patch tests for all clients that may be worried about experiencing an allergic reaction to the adhesive we use. All patch tests must be booked 48-72 hours prior to your appointment date in order to ensure the most accurate results.
Cleansing your lashes prior to your lash service helps ensure that you are removing any unwanted elements that may affect the adhesion of the extensions to your natural lashes. These elements may include oils, makeup residue, debris, facial productsโฆ etc.
